Look who we got, today!
She is a three and half week old "Jug" (Jack Russel / Pug mix).
We've named her Seneca. The name comes from beautiful Seneca Lake which we are about 30 minutes from. It is an Indian name for a people group of the Iroquois Indian Nation.
So far she has fallen asleep in Ben's arms 5 times, and in my lap 2 times.
Today was Ben's birthday, so we spent the afternoon walking the mall. Before we hit the last store, we walked to the pet store, and just about instantly were both drawn to this little gal. She was very calm and good when Ben held her. So we went to our last store - even though we couldn't really think of much else other than her. So we went back to get her. What fun it is to shop for a little puppy, and to walk around PetSmart with a sleeping pup in your arms with everyone drooling and melting over her.
Ben got birthday kisses from TWO girls, today.
She was so cute playing with Ben, I love this picture of them.
She laid on her back basically begging us to rub her tummy.
I think this was the 3rd time she fell asleep in Ben's arms.We aren't sure what to do with her tonight as 5 minutes in her cage alone and she is crying and whimpering. She will not have free reign in the house until she is house broken - however, we have not had any accidents yet.

Becky...she is SO cute!!! I wrote on Ben's wall that puppies are baby practice :) You did a great job picking her out. Too sweet!!
Yeah, it was certainly good practice last night, as she cried, whined, and howled for what it seemed like all night long. And then there's the occasional accidents. :) But even accidents are cute, now.
aw, shes a very cute puppy :D and thts saying something 4 me 2 say tht. she looks about as big as our dog was when we got her.
The accident's aren't cute anymore. heh.
