We named our Wednesday night youth group meeting "the C.O.R.E.". (Christ Our Reason Everyday). We thought it would be cool to have a name and plus sound more interesting if the teens were to invite their friends.
Well, after starting 7 months ago with about 15 regulars, last week's Core meeting we were blown away by having 36 teens. They keep bringing their friends, and they keep coming back. What a blessing.
Here we all are in the youth room (the basement of our church). Here we have a huge place for games, a pool table, air hockey, 2 ping pong tables, and we will soon have more room when some stuff is cleared out.

But we were not prepared for the flood of teens we had last night.

We are currently figuring out how to rearrange the meeting area because we simply didn't have the space for all the teens. What a blessing from the Lord.
Please pray for us as we are aware of specific teens who are not saved, many who are from broken homes with recent divorces, and some who are into the wrong things. A youth group is only as strong as the youth leaders so we need wisdom as we seek out additional help.
