My first real post on my little blog here will be rather plain.
It is a little chilly (although warm in comparison to recent weather) overcast and drizzly. The kind of day I love to light candles, put on my favorite fleece pants (you know, the ones I live in during winter), and do something cozy, like put on music, cook, or make hot chocolate.
Ben is at the church today even though it's his day off. . . typical Finchness. He will come home after he speaks in chapel this afternoon. He is doing a presentation using PowerPoint on how small Horseheads, NY is compared to the earth, how small our earth is compared to the sun, and how small our sun is compared to our Galaxy. The kids will love it. And they'll be learning without even knowing it. hehehe. So sneaky.
Fun with Camac
I am finishing up working with Jakez over the amazing world-shrinking Internet on our first Camac ad. I am so excited and pumped for this. I still can't believe I'm working with them. Jakez is pretty easy to please, and we are going back and forth with little corrections on text placement. Even the simplest of ads can become a complex puzzle of interrelated pieces. One move affects and creates another problem. Oh, well. It will soon be complete. Here's a sneak peak at the ad. (Only my parents, Ben, and Jakez have seen it thus far - feel special)

"Modern Design, Traditional Methods
Camac, the harpmaker of the 21st Century"
We are defining Camac as the harp maker that is pioneering modern design and techniques, but also sustains that timeless classic traditional side, as well. It's been very interesting to brainstorm with these opposing ideas. Traditional and old fasioned with sleek and modern. Quite a challenge, yet very exiting because on every front it is fresh and new - having never been done before. So, until March, shhhh! Camac is so neato!
Pop-u-u-lar (for Brenda - die hard Wicked fan)
Tonight, we will party with the College and Career group. This will be the second time having them over. We will delight them with baby pizzas (English muffins with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni) games, and our stimulating conversation.
That's all for now, must clean up the kitchen a little, and plan for tonight.
