Lunar Eclipse

Perhaps many of you watched the lunar eclipse last night. It was the first one that I had watched and taken pictures of. I was quite jealous when I thought about those who were actually able to stay outside for the whole thing, perhaps having a bbq or perspiring some. After 5 minutes, I was having a hard time pushing buttons on my camera because my hands were completely numb. Of course "numb" is a figure of speech, because I did in fact have feeling in my hands in the form of an intense throbbing and burning sensation. Ahh, the anomalies of the American language.

Here are some of the shots from last night. I'm sure NASA's site will have much better pictures, but enjoy these, anyway.

See the tiny dot to the left? That's Saturn.

Coming back into the light.
